  • How does the experience work?

Your experience begins with our team welcoming you and giving a short briefing on how it will unfold. A member of staff then fits your VR headset and you move into the experience area. The experience lasts about 45 minutes. When it ends, our staff will come over and help you take off your equipment with ease.

  • How much time should I allow for my visit?

The virtual reality experience lasts about 45 minutes. So that you can enjoy it without rushing, we recommend allowing about an hour in total for your visit. This covers the welcome, leaving your belongings in a locker, the pre-experience briefing, fitting the equipment and the post-experience debrief.

  • Can I do more than one experience on the same day?

Yes. Each ticket is valid for one experience; if you would also like to try a different one, you need to buy a separate session. You can book two back-to-back sessions online, or come straight to our centre to check availability on the day.

  • Which languages is the experience available in?

The experiences at our centre are available in Turkish, English and French. Depending on the experience you choose, other languages may also be available. Simply let our staff know your preferred language before the experience.

  • What age is the experience suitable for?

The experience is for visitors aged 7 and over. Visitors aged 7–13 must be accompanied by an adult; the accompanying adult also needs to buy a ticket and take part in the experience with them. Visitors aged 14 and over may take part on their own. Children under 7 cannot be admitted to the experience.

  • Do we stand throughout the experience?

Yes. The experiences are enjoyed standing up and on the move. During the experience you walk around the area and occasionally crouch or bend down.

  • Is the experience scary?

Our experiences contain no horror elements. However, some scenes may feel intense because of their sense of scale and height.

Before Your Visit

  • What are your opening hours?

Müzeverse is open every day from 10:00 to 22:00. Our last session starts at 21:00.

  • How early should I arrive?

Please be at our centre at least 15 minutes before your session time.

  • What happens if I'm late?

As soon as you realise you are running late, please call us on +90 212 330 07 00 as early as possible. Depending on the time remaining and how busy the sessions are that day, we will try to find a suitable solution for you. Please note, however, that because sessions may be fully booked, we cannot always offer an alternative session. As a reminder, the last admission to the experience is at 21:00.

  • What clothing and footwear should I wear?

Because the experience is enjoyed standing up and on the move, we recommend comfortable clothing and sturdy, closed shoes that hold your feet securely. High heels, flip-flops, slippery sandals and bulky clothing that could restrict your movement may affect your balance and safety during the experience.

  • Do I need to print my ticket?

There is no need to print your ticket. At the entrance we simply scan the QR code on your ticket from your phone. You can also bring a printout if you prefer; either way, you will be able to get in.

  • Are there lockers on site?

Yes, we have free lockers so you can leave your belongings safely during the experience. You can leave your things in the lockers in the welcome area and collect them after the experience.

  • Can I take my phone or smartwatch into the experience?

Phones and smartwatches can interfere with the VR equipment because of the signals they emit. We therefore recommend leaving your devices in our free lockers before the experience. If you would like to keep your device with you, you must switch it to airplane mode before entering the experience area.

  • Can I take photos?

You are welcome to take photos outside the VR area. Using devices during the experience is not allowed, as it affects the safety and experience of other visitors.

Health and Safety

  • Are there any restrictions on taking part?

Visitors with a heart condition or epilepsy, pregnant visitors and visitors with a pushchair or baby carrier cannot be admitted to the experience.

For visitors prone to severe vertigo or nausea, all our experiences offer a SOFT mode with reduced motion effects. If you have a particular health condition or question, please get in touch with us before your visit.

  • Can I take part if I'm pregnant?

Pregnant visitors cannot be admitted to the experience. Because the experience involves moving around while wearing a VR headset and occasionally crouching, this restriction is in place for your safety.

  • Is there a gentler mode for people prone to dizziness?

Yes. A SOFT mode is available in all our experiences. It reduces some of the motion effects in the experience, limiting feelings of dizziness and loss of balance. If you would like to use SOFT mode, just tell our staff before the experience.

  • Can older visitors take part?

Visitors of all ages are welcome at our experiences. For visitors who have balance problems or feel more vulnerable, we recommend using a wheelchair provided at our centre, or coming with a companion, so they can enjoy the experience safely. We offer a discounted ticket for visitors aged 65 and over.

  • Are there special rules for children?

The virtual reality experience is for children aged 7 and over. Visitors aged 7–13 must be supervised by an adult throughout the experience; the accompanying adult also needs to buy a ticket and take part in the experience with them. Visitors aged 14 and over may take part on their own.

If your child wants to stop the experience part-way through, an adult must accompany them out of the experience area. Our staff are unable to supervise children outside the experience area.

  • Can I take part with my baby?

The experience requires you to move freely around the experience area while wearing a VR headset, so it is not possible to take part with a baby carrier or pushchair. For safety reasons, babies also cannot be left unattended in the welcome area, so when planning your visit please bring a companion who can look after your baby.

  • What happens if I panic or feel unwell during the experience?

If you feel uncomfortable during the experience, you can stop it at any time. To do so, please stay still where you are and raise your hand; a member of staff will come over and guide you safely out of the area. You can then rest in the welcome area and take as much time as you need to recover. When you feel ready, you can pick up the experience where you left off.

  • Can I take the headset off or leave the experience?

Yes. If you want to take the headset off or leave the experience altogether, please stay still where you are and raise your hand; a member of staff will come over to help you.

  • What rules should I follow during the experience?

In the experience area, please keep quiet, do not run, do not sit or lie down on the floor, and do not touch other visitors. If you need help, simply stop and raise your hand. The experience may be ended if our staff's safety instructions are not followed or in the event of behaviour that affects the safety or experience of other visitors.

  • Are the VR headsets cleaned between sessions?

Yes. Our staff clean and disinfect the VR headsets and head straps after every experience. Thanks to the strict hygiene protocol we follow throughout the day, our equipment is clean, comfortable and ready to use for every visitor.

Accessibility

  • Can wheelchair users take part?

Yes. Although the experiences are designed to be enjoyed standing and on the move, the necessary adaptations are made so that wheelchair users can enjoy them comfortably. And because virtual reality can cause a feeling of losing balance in some people, we can provide a wheelchair on request even if you don't normally use one. If you contact us when planning your visit, we can make the necessary arrangements in advance.

  • Can I take part using a walking cane?

Because a cane is not visible in the virtual environment, it creates a risk of collisions and falls, so canes cannot be taken into the experience area. For your safety, you can enjoy the experience in a wheelchair provided at our centre, or take part with a companion.

  • Can deaf or hard-of-hearing visitors take part?

As our experiences do not include subtitles, they are not suitable for deaf visitors. Visitors who use hearing aids, however, can enjoy the experience without any difficulty.

  • Can I take part wearing a hearing aid?

Yes, you can keep using your hearing aid throughout the experience. The sound comes from small speakers on the VR headset positioned just above ear level, so it works well with hearing aids. We can adjust the volume to suit you before the experience.

  • Can I take part wearing glasses?

Yes, there is no need to take off your glasses. Most prescription glasses fit comfortably inside the VR headset.

  • Can colour-blind visitors take part?

Yes, our experiences are suitable for colour-blind visitors. The content is built on three-dimensional scenes, volumes and movement rather than on telling colours apart precisely, so colour blindness will not stop you from enjoying the full experience.
